RoboShiksha is introduced as a Robotics club activity in Schools. The RoboShiksha club is conducted in computer lab for students of class 6 onwards and in normal classroom for class 2nd to 5th standard. Students are taught with about Robot building, Programming and Science concepts using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education. This small step in the RoboShiksha is the initial step for future success of students. During the program various activities are conducted in schools. Teacher first explains the activity and concept then students starts exploring kits and comes with their solution. Students are always helped and encouraged by the teachers to come up with their innovative solution.
The overall objective of the program is to create a fun environment where at the end of each session students are given ample time to get accustomed with the robots. This program helps the student in getting visual grasp of concepts of Math and Science thereby enhancing the problem solving skills. In addition to the above, at the end of every Robotics session, we share various real life examples with the student so that the learning does not stop once the session is over. We believe that a child should be given enough ‘masala’ so that he constantly relates the theoretical concepts to the practical application.
